This is such a Beautiful piece of Antique jewellery with a square slide or charm encrusted with a Pearl within a Gypsy or Star setting and with delicate pie-crust edges. What a Classic Stunner! The back is plain and puffy.

It is a very versatile piece with this style of chain often referred to as a Ladies Watch Slide Chain or Muff Guard as with the clip they were useful for keeping close a myriad of items. It is comprised of a solid trace link chain forming a double length with a lobster claw clip for any number of items to clip onto - watch, locket, pendant or magnifying glass. 

It is able to be worn either as necklace (with the clip around the chain where it doubles at the end) with the slide as the feature. Or, you could clip your favourite antique pendant or locket onto it. The limit really is your imagination.

COLOUR

The chain has a Yellow Gold hue while the slide has a slight rose/pink hue depending upon the light. They have the silky smooth feel usually only associated with solid carat gold and expected of quality antique jewellery.
