QUALITY Antique Edwardian Vintage Rose Gold GF Bangle Bracelett
QUALITY Antique Edwardian Vintage Rose Gold GF Bangle Bracelett

~Please scroll down for more pictures of this item~

With an absolutely stunning Antique Bangle Bracelet - I hope the pictures do it justice – it just Oozes quality. I know you will be thrilled with this one! The rich decoration is so highly detailed with a blank oval cartouche at the centre yet to be monogrammed. It is flanked by a pressed metal design with foliate flourishes and brilliants, horseshoes – motifs very popular in Victorian times to signify good luck and fleur-de-lys carvings. The word “fleur-de-lis” means “flower of light” and is the French symbol of Life & Power. It is designed from nature’s Iris flower and is a symbol found on many Victorian, Edwardian and Art Nouveau pieces which has been carried into modern design. They have a star-dust effect that sparkles in the light.

The back is plain and smooth, without monograms. It has a square-roundish shape with beautifully domed sides inside and out for ease of comfort. It has a “hidden hinge” or secret joint in excellent working order. The clasp opens to reveal a “guard”, a wire inside to stop the bracelet from opening too wide and damaging the hinge as well as a safety feature. It snaps closed very securely.

This has a "secret joint” (meaning the hinge is not visible as it is internal) and a wire guard (known to have been patented on February 25, 1908 by its manufacturer) to “prevent falling off or losing”.

It has the silky smooth feel usually only associated with solid carat gold and expected of quality antique jewellery. It has a true, soft antique, rose gold hue with the contract of yellow from the applied decoration.

OVERALL

Better-than-Excellent Antique condition! Mentioned only for complete accuracy are two teeny pinprick-like dints to the back and some stones are not quite as bright as they others – this is typical for their age and easily replaced, if desired.  The two halves of the bangle are perfectly aligned with the “secret join” exactly that. There is no damage, wear or repairs to this Beauty – it clearly has had very little use. It is all original and superb on the wrist. You will be delighted- Guaranteed!
