What a Gorgeous and RARE Antique Edwardian Bangle Bracelet! I took many pictures hoping to capture its beauty. It is of a fabulous design with a thick, domed face and rimmed edges creating a beautiful and unique profile.
A BLANK Cartouche at the centre perfect for engraving with initials is flanked by a gorgeous chased design of Forget-Me-Not Flowers and Cabbage Roses, the Ambassadors of Love, and a myriad of foliage, all intricately detailed. I hope the pictures show how truly beautiful this one is.
The back is plain and smooth. It has an elongated oval shape and the interior has a gentle rounded thickness making it comfortable to wear whether pushed up the wrist as a cuff bracelet or left loose on the wrist.
This bangle has a “hidden” hinge and clasp. It is opened by pushing the button which sits almost flush with the edge. It snaps shut securely.
The gold has a soft Antique hue, a blended yellow and pink/rose (it is chameleon-like - hold it against yellow gold and it looks pink, and against rose it looks yellow!) and the silky smooth feel associated with solid carat gold. The quality is obvious and typical of the era.

Maker: D. A. HART known to be operating around 1910-1914 possibly earlier, in my opinion
Construction: Gold Filled/Gold Shell – unmarked but of High Quality

OVERALL
It is in NEAR MINT ANTIQUE condition. There is just one teeny pin-prick size dint to the back. There are no dents, wear, repairs or damage – it is such a Beauty! What a great addition to any Antique or Vintage Heirloom jewellery collection.
